The Story of Us Dragons

Saima was born and raised in London. She moved to Amsterdam a few years ago to start her dream ‘Dragons Delight’, which is a British bakery and events company. Saima used to work as a research scientist for the Institute of Cancer Research, and now along with managing the business, she has managed to transfer her natural flare for science by creating exciting new desserts, for example the erupting volcano cupcakes we produced for the Yelp Elite Masterclass event. Within 2 short years of starting the business, Saima has already put her name onto an extensive repertoire of events, including a wedding in Karachi over Christmas, and providing catering for Turkish Airlines Kings Day celebrations at Schipol airport.

Richard is a third generation Irish baker who attended college to follow the same trade as his family. After studying Baking in Kevin Street D.I.T, he worked in a few small bakeries since. He understands from first-hand experience how a small bakery is laid out and how it can work effectively and efficiently.

Boris has catered for several large scale events in London, including a Sunday Roast pop up, crew catering for The Voice UK, and street food festivals. I have been a chef for 25 years and worked in London for 10 including, but not limited to – sous chef at Udon by Nobu in Canary Wharf, sous chef at Buddha Bar under Waterloo Bridge, head chef at Number 90 in Hackney Wick and head chef Kings Head Members Club in Dalston, before being lured by the sun to the head chef position at Tiki Club in St Tropez. Boris moved back to Amsterdam, looking for an opportunity to expand his creativity
